Doha College Class of 2026 Secures Places at Leading Global Universities

Doha College is delighted to celebrate the university destinations of its Class of 2026, with graduates securing places at leading universities and institutions across the UK, US, Europe, Asia, the Middle East, Canada and Australia.

Following an exceptional year of academic achievement, the Class of 2026 is now embarking on the next stage of its journey, with graduates pursuing a wide range of subjects and pathways at universities around the world.

Global destinations, diverse opportunities

The university destinations of the Class of 2026 reflect the increasingly global pathways available to Doha College graduates.

Across the UK, pupils have secured offers from leading institutions including Imperial College London, University College London (UCL), King’s College London, the London School of Economics and Political Science (LSE) and the University of Manchester.

More than 72% of pupils applying to UK universities received offers from Russell Group institutions, recognised for their academic excellence and world-leading research.

The cohort’s destinations extend well beyond the UK. Nine graduates are progressing to universities in the United States, including two who have secured places at Ivy League institutions: one at the Wharton School of the University of Pennsylvania and another at Cornell University.

Across the wider cohort, 86 graduates are progressing to the UK, nine to the US, 24 to destinations across Europe, 20 across Asia and the Middle East, six to Canada and four to Australia.

Together, these destinations highlight the breadth of opportunities available to pupils as they move from Doha College into higher education around the world.

Inspiring Minds: from Doha College to the world

At the heart of Doha College’s Vision and Mission, Inspiring Minds, is an ambition to help every pupil discover their passions and potential, develop high expectations of what they can achieve and consider the positive impact they can make on the world around them.

The journeys of the Class of 2026 offer a wonderful reflection of this ambition. From highly competitive university programmes to a diverse range of academic disciplines and destinations, each graduate is taking a unique pathway shaped by their interests, aspirations and experiences.

Exploring diverse pathways

The breadth of subjects studied at Doha College is reflected in the degree pathways chosen by the Class of 2026.

Engineering emerged as the most popular degree pathway, followed closely by Medicine. Graduates are also progressing into Accounting and Finance, Law, Economics, Business, Drama and a diverse range of other fields.

The strong representation of pupils progressing into Medicine is particularly notable given the highly competitive nature of entry to medical degree programmes.

These varied destinations demonstrate that there is no single route to success. Whether pursuing engineering, medicine, business, law or another field, the Class of 2026 is taking its learning in many different directions.

Academic achievement opening doors

These university destinations follow an exceptional set of A Level results for the Class of 2026, providing a strong academic foundation for graduates competing for places on demanding courses and at highly selective universities around the world.

Across the cohort:

63% of grades were awarded at A-A*
84% of grades were awarded at A-B*
95% of grades were awarded at A-C*

Individual achievements were equally impressive, including one pupil who achieved five A grades, including the Extended Project Qualification (EPQ)**, alongside pupils achieving four and three A grades.

These outcomes reflect the hard work and commitment of the Class of 2026 throughout their time at Doha College, as well as the support provided by the wider College community.

Ready for the next chapter

As our Class of 2026 graduates begin university life and take their next steps around the world, they carry with them more than their academic achievements.

They leave Doha College with the knowledge, confidence and experiences developed throughout their education, alongside the values and strength of character to make the most of the opportunities ahead.

From Doha to London, New York, Toronto, Sydney and destinations across Europe, Asia and beyond, the Class of 2026 is beginning an exciting new chapter.

Congratulations to the Doha College Class of 2026. We look forward to seeing where your journeys take you next.
