DC Houses
At Doha College, every pupil belongs to a House — Eagle, Oryx, Scorpion, Trident, or Viper — each representing a spirit of teamwork, pride, and community. The House System is an integral part of school life, designed to nurture friendships across year groups and encourage healthy competition in academic, sporting, and cultural pursuits.

More than a symbol of belonging, the House System provides opportunities for pupils to participate, lead, and celebrate success together.
Whether it’s on the sports field, in the classroom, or through co-curricular activities, pupils earn house points for achievement, effort, teamwork, and participation. These points contribute to annual awards, fostering a shared sense of accomplishment and school spirit.
Throughout the year, pupils take part in a wide variety of House events — from athletics and debating to charity drives and creative challenges — developing confidence, resilience, and collaboration along the way.
The system reflects the Doha College ethos: creating outstanding futures through a supportive, inclusive community that values excellence in all its forms.
