From the Eco-Schools Committee, which drives environmental awareness and sustainable practices, to our Diversity, Equity and Inclusion Committee, which champions respect, understanding and belonging, each group reflects the values we hold as a College. Our Wellbeing Committee promotes balance, resilience and positive mental health, while the Digital and Communication Committee supports innovation, creativity and the responsible use of technology. Alongside this, the Charities Committee leads purposeful outreach, encouraging pupils to engage with and support communities both locally and globally.

Through active participation, our pupils develop confidence, leadership and a strong sense of responsibility. Eco Schools

At Doha College, sustainability is not just an initiative — it is a shared commitment that influences how we learn, live, and grow as a community. 

As proud participants in the global Eco-Schools Programme, our mission is to empower every pupil to make a positive impact on both the planet and our local environment here in Qatar.

Since becoming Qatar’s first Eco-School in 2016, Doha College has proudly maintained its Green Flag status through the dedication of our Eco-School Committee — a passionate team of pupils and staff who meet weekly to lead and inspire change. Together, they identify challenges, design creative solutions, and implement sustainable practices that reduce our ecological footprint across campus.

From recycling drives and energy-saving campaigns to biodiversity projects and community partnerships, our pupils take an active role in shaping a greener future. 

Through this hands-on approach, they learn that small actions can create meaningful change — developing the awareness, responsibility, and leadership that define the Doha College learner.
