Working at Doha College
Over 2600 boys and girls aged 3-18 develop their passion for learning at Doha College. We are an international school teaching the well-respected British curriculum offering a broad range of IGCSEs and A Levels. On our campuses, you will find students from over 83 different nationalities speaking 22 different languages. We provide an inspiring and challenging learning environment which develops confidence, creativity and intellect, enabling every student to make a valued contribution to our global society.
As an employee at Doha College, you can expect to receive a very generous tax-free salary and an end of service payment equivalent to three weeks pay for every year of service. International hires also receive other benefits such as an annual flight allowance and subsidised tuition fees for children attending the school. In addition, we also provide staff recruited from overseas with a monthly accommodation allowance allowing them the flexibility to decide where they would like to live.

What Happens Next?
Once a position has closed, applications will be screened by the relevant selection panel for that vacancy. Shortlisted candidates will then be contacted by the Human Resources team outlining the next part of the selection process. For most of our positions, a formal interview will take place and for teaching positions, further exercises such as a micro teach may be required. Once an offer of appointment is made, the College will make all necessary arrangements regarding organising visas, booking flights and providing initial accommodation in Qatar. We also provide all new staff with a comprehensive induction.
Doha College is committed to safeguarding and promoting the welfare of children and young people. Applicants must be willing to undergo child protection screening, including reference checks with previous employers and a criminal records check. Teaching staff will also be subject to a Barred List and Prohibition from Teaching Check.
