Doha, Qatar – MES Cairo's Primary Student Council teamed up with British Schools in the Middle East (BSME) to facilitate and adjudicate the yearly Primary Creative Writing Event. First launched in 2017, this event is part of the BSME Primary Writing Competition and aims to allow students from BSME member schools to showcase their creativity.

Internationally acclaimed Qatari filmmaker Khalifa Al-Thani graced the halls of Doha College as part of the British international school's Careers and Aspirations programme to share his remarkable journey through the realms of film, contemporary art, and media.

Doha College has taken a significant step towards the future of high-stakes examinations by formally reaffirming its involvement in the Pearson Edexcel onscreen examination, which started as a pilot in 2020. Doha College garnered a string of victories at the recent BSME Games 2024. Most remarkable of all is the first place overall in the U13 BSME Games 2024, hosted this year by The British School Al Khubairat, Abu Dhabi. The games are organised by the “British Schools in the Middle East” and are the leading inter-country multiple sport competition in the region.
