New Chief Operating Officer joins Doha College
We are delighted to announce the appointment of David Lish as Doha College's Chief Operating Officer, a new position created to reflect the core element of the role, which is to ensure the smooth operation of all our support functions, clearly aligned to our academic, pastoral and co-curricular activities.
He stated,
I am delighted to be selected as Doha College's Chief Operating Officer. The school’s reputation is incredibly strong and reaches far. Joining me in Doha will be my wife, Nina, and our children, Freddie and Clemmie; as a family we're really excited to be making the move very soon. As the Bursar and Chief Operating Officer at Glenalmond College in Scotland, I built significant experience of strategic school leadership, and very much look forward to putting this to effect at DC in an inclusive and collegiate manner. Prior to Glenalmond, I served as an army officer for over 17 years, in a variety of leadership positions or project management roles. This service enabled me to be immersed in a number of different cultures, and I am unequivocally of the belief that diversity brings benefits for all.
Let us give David our best wishes in the new role!
