Farewell to the Doha College graduating class of 2023
Doha College proudly commemorated the remarkable achievement of its graduating students from the class of 2023. This year's cohort comprised of exceptional individuals from diverse backgrounds who demonstrated resilience and determination throughout their academic journey.
This year's graduates received an astounding 15 offers from universities ranked in the world's top 10 and many more from the world's top 100. Eleonora Carta received an offer from the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (no. 1), Noumay Barakat from the University of Cambridge (no. 2) AND the Imperial College London (no. 6), while Ghita El Mernissi's best offer came from the University of Oxford (no. 4).
Doha College was honoured to have Qatari entrepreneur Ghanim Al Sulaiti, one of the brightest lights in Qatar's business landscape, as a returning guest speaker. As a successful businessman and an influential community leader, he shared with our graduates his personal experiences in a most engaging manner, emphasising the importance of having an open mind, embracing challenges, and taking new roads.
The happy faces of our freshest alumni will beam down on their younger peers from the library wall for a whole year, before the next class take their place.
The students enjoyed a photoshoot in their gowns. Scroll down for a video in which some of them share thoughts about their Doha College experience.
The graduation ceremony not only marked the end of an educational chapter, but also heralded the beginning of an exciting new phase for each graduate. As they move forward to pursue higher education, careers, and personal growth, Doha College remains committed to supporting its alumni and empowering them to become global citizens and leaders in their respective fields.
