Doha College and Mockingbird Academy Celebrate Best-Ever LAMDA Results
We are absolutely delighted to celebrate an extraordinary achievement by our talented pupils at Doha College and Mockingbird Academy. In the recent LAMDA (London Academy of Music and Dramatic Art) examinations, our students delivered their best ever results — a testament to their dedication, creativity, and passion for the performing arts.
This year has marked a remarkable milestone for Mockingbird Academy, with an impressive 88% of students awarded Distinctions and the remaining 12% earning Merits. In the Musical Theatre category, our pupils dazzled the examiners, with 90% achieving Distinctions and 10% Merits — a truly outstanding performance that reflects their hard work and commitment to excellence.

From our enthusiastic Primary pupils taking their very first steps into the world of performance, to our accomplished Secondary pupils tackling advanced grades, every Mockingbird pupil rose to the challenge with determination and flair. Their performances showcased their technical ability and highlighted their confidence, imagination, and joy for the stage.
Senior Students Achieving UCAS Points
We are especially proud of our senior pupils in Years 6, 7, and 8, who have gained valuable UCAS points through their exceptional results. These points contribute to their university applications, giving them a head start as they prepare to pursue exciting academic and professional opportunities in the future.
