As the world navigates the COVID-19 pandemic, a deep sense of community has risen. It provides strength, resilience and a sense of purpose in these challenging times.
The DC community is no exception with its incredible drive to support each other. No matter whether a student attended 40 years ago or are just starting their educational journey, we always believe that ‘Once DC, Always DC’
We want to reach out to all our alumni and say hey!
We know you will all be spread across the globe and all facing different levels of the current situation, but all connected by the impact of Coronavirus. So download our DC postcard and send back a photo of yourself with it to let us know you are standing strong with your DC community. You can also share a message to others to lend your support, we are all #dctogether

Having decided, within the current Development Plan, to survey our parents and staff on a biennial basis, I am writing to invite you to take part in our 2019 parent survey which, together with the staff survey to be conducted this term, will inform our future planning. With the Development Plan 2019 – 2022, ready to be launched in September 2019 (you will be consulted on the plan in the course of this term), we are conducting these surveys at a pertinent time so that the outcomes can be integrated into the plan.
For the results to be comparable, and a base line to be established, we have again commissioned GL Assessments, a leading educational consultancy firm, to devise and conduct the parent survey on our behalf.
Please note your survey responses are completely confidential. As the questionnaire is being run by an independent company, Doha College will not see what you have said.
This survey will assist us on how we should be spending our time and resources, in order to make Doha College the best it can be for your child(ren). Your responses will therefore make a notable difference to how we plan, and run the school in the future. As stated in the college development plan, these surveys will now be biennial events, so we can measure our progress, vis-à-vis your expectations, over time.
Please find below the links to access these surveys, which takes 10 minutes, before Tuesday 28th May 2019.

There are no right or wrong answers. Please be as open and candid as you can, basing your replies on your experience of Doha College. There are separate surveys for Primary and Secondary children. Please complete a survey for each child. The more responses we have, the better the data at the end. Once the outcome of the survey has been processed, you will be invited to a presentation of the results and a discussion of the action plan we propose.
Thank you very much in anticipation.

Training Leaders of the Future
As sport is so high on the National Agenda here in Qatar, Doha College want to be able to support the countries vision for participation and legacy which is why we’ve teamed up with LLS, the UK’s leading provider of sports industry qualifications.
Combining Sport with Science
Students who are passionate about exploring a career in the world of professional sport can now apply to join LLS’ BTEC Sport & Exercise Science programmes here at Doha College. Unlike A-Level PE, these courses are designed to enable males and females to apply what they’re learning in the classroom and put it into practice in real life settings.
Bringing Learning to Life
With two course options, males and females can select a Subsidiary Diploma (equal to 1 A-Level) alongside up to three other A-Levels or an Extended Diploma (equal to 3 A-Levels) as their core programme of study for 6th form.
LLS create a bespoke timetable for everyone which ensures learners are being given an opportunity to gain work experience in a setting which they hope to pursue a career in in the future. Each unit taught concludes with a classroom visit from a sports professional which has previously included a World Cup winning physiotherapist, an Olympic athlete and a Sports Media presenter, to name a few.
Standing Out from the Crowd
Popular unique aspects to the course include annual trips to Colombo in Sri Lanka and Madrid in Spain where students complete voluntary work experience with foreign children and engage with sports professionals in each respective country – both fantastic opportunities to add to university or job applications.
How to Apply
To secure a place to study with LLS, you will be required to follow the Doha College 6th form application process, however, entry requirements differ from A-Levels.
