 - Year 8 Spanish Captions Project (PDF)

This is a project done by a group of year 8 students at Doha College in December 2006.

The students wanted to do something different and also to show others what they had been learning

Their story depicts a Spanish lesson and the feelings and thoughts of all those involved in it.

There is a narrator telling us what is happening in each picture and the reader learns that things are not quite what they seem.

They all gathered ideas and energy. Combining pictures and captions they managed to put a little story together. With the help of dictionaries and their teacher they set out to work. ICT was used to enhance their work and the main aim of the project was to revise what had been done in class

Everybody involved worked very hard and enjoyed the project, but we all agreed that special thanks had to be given to George, Sara Jamil, Kadija and Amani for their valuable collaboration in getting things done in time.
