Learning Resource Centre - Primary School
Welcome to the Primary Learning Resource Centre (Library)
The learning Resource Centre is open 5 days a week from Sunday through to Thursday from 7.15am until 1.15pm daily. During this time many students from years 3,4,5 and 6 take the opportunity to change their library books during the quick Book change facility available to them.
On a fortnightly basis 2 students from Year 6 are given the chance to take on the roll as a Library Monitor helping out with the day to day running of checking books back in and out again for other students by using the computerised library system called Alice.
Each new Term students have the chance to select books from the book club the school runs. This is always well supported and helps us to add to our ever growing book selection available to all! The free books that we receive are displayed in and around the LRC area for all to enjoy!
New for this term a display board “I wish we had this book in the library” was created for the children to let us know their choice of a new edition or a favourite book they would like to see in their school library.
