TIMING OF THE SCHOOL DAY

Sunday to Thursday inclusive

Pre-School                    7.25 am. to 12.00 pm 

Reception:                    7.25 am to 12.55 pm

Years 1 – 2:                  7.25 am. to 12.55 pm

Years  3 - 4:                    7:25am  to  1 : 10 pm

The morning bell will be at 7.20 am so that work may commence promptly at 7.25 am.

Support and Teaching staff are required to be in their classrooms or activity areas by 7.15 am.

The Primary Gate will be open from 7.00 am, however, students will not be allowed to enter the building until the bell rings at 7.20 am. 

Doha College will not take responsibility for children who are delivered earlier than those times stated.

Pre-School to Year 1 - students enter through the main entrance doors and proceed directly to their classrooms.

Years 2, 3, 4 and 6 - students enter through the main entrance doors and proceed to their classrooms. 

Year 5 - students go straight to their classrooms.

DEPARTURE

All students must be collected from the classroom by a responsible adult, or an elder sibling. Written permission from parents must be obtained if primary students are to be collected by elder siblings.  

BREAK TIMES

1^st Break

Pre-School                      9.00 am –     9.50 am

Reception                        9.35 am –    10.25 am   

Year 1 and 2                    8.55 am –    9.25 am     

Year 3 and 4                    9.10am –     9.35am  

Year 5 and 6                    9.10 am –    9.35 am  

2^nd Break

Reception,                          11:00am  - 11:15 am

Years 1 and 2                    10:55 am – 11.10 am

Years 3, 4, 5 and 6            11.15 am – 11:40 am        

NB        Due to the intense heat during the first half of the Autumn Term and 2^nd half of the Summer Term, 2^nd break will be taken inside for the younger children.

Sporting Clubs – 1.15 pm – 3.00 pm –  Sunday – Thursday
