Spring Fayre: “The School Council helped the PPA with the Spring Fayre. We had great fun painting a giant sign to advertise the Fayre, which we hung on the wall outside the school!

At the Fayre we ran a Lucky Jar Tombola.  All the children in the Primary School were given a jar to fill with prizes.  We collected all the jars and at the Fayre people paid 10 riyals to choose a card and won the jar which was on the matching card.  We raised a lot of money!  The total amount raised at the Fayre was over 50,000 Riyals.

We also helped the Secondary School Council with ‘Guess the expiry date of the Giant Toblerone’! The toblerone was kindly donated by a parent, Mr Burton. We shared the proceeds between the two Student Councils – Secondary will use their share for new library books and Primary will be putting it towards their next initiative, which is ‘Making the Primary School more GREEN’!
