PPA :: Doha College Primary School

WELCOME TO THE PRIMARY PARENTS’ ASSOCIATION (PPA)

Doha College Primary Parents’ Association relies entirely on parent volunteers and has three main roles:

to support the school at various events helping to source volunteers for some class activities;
to install and operate a strong communication network and support system using the Class Representatives system:
to raise money for various projects around the school which may be considered luxuries when prioritizing budgets within the school, but remain highly desirable for the greater educational experience of our children.

The Committee pre-September 2008 raised enough funds to create a new adventure play area in the Primary School playground.

This marked Phase One and in November, the current PPA raised QAR36,000 towards further improvements at a fun-filled Winter Fayre.

PPA Open Meetings towards further improvements are held on the FIRST Wednesday of each month at midday in the staffroom at DCP.
