Official opening of the Learning Resource Centre

Sunday 4th March marked the official opening of the Learning Resource Centres in Secondary and Primary.

The British Ambassador, Mr Simon Collis, visited the school to cut the red ribbons and launch World Book Week, which also started that week.

Both LRCs look very different from last year, thanks to a massive investment from the Board of Governors in furniture, fittings and resources.

Both Learning Resource Centres have been dedicated to Mahmood Khan, the College Liaison Officer who worked at the College for nearly 20 years, and who sadly passed away on 28 February 2007.

The Primary LRC, in particular, is looking amazing with the addition of a majlis and colourful murals.

Parents and children have also been enjoying selecting and buying books from the Book Fair which has been taking place all week. Every book bought earns commission for us to buy even more books for the school libraries. A big thank you for your support.
